The RA Chess Club holds regular events on Monday and Thursday evenings at the RA Centre in Ottawa. Club contact and directions can be found here.

Unless otherwise noted, the club's standard time controls apply: regular chess, game in 90 minutes plus 30-second per move Fischer increment (G/90+30sec); active chess, game in 25 minutes plus 5-seconds per move Fischer increment (G/25+5sc). |
Monday Evenings (7:00pm - 10:00pm)
Monday evenings are geared towards the casual chess player who wants to enjoy a pick-up game or to learn from other club members.

Thursday evenings are geared towards the more serious club player wishing to compete in rated tournaments. To participate in rated tournaments you must be a current Chess Federation of Canada (CFC)Member.
